It creates an acoustic and thermal break for the floor. This 8mm thick strip is composed of polyurethane foam, ensuring a better floor expansion. It features a convenient PVC apron for secure fitting to the PVC vapour barrier to avoid any screed going behind the expansion foam edging strip. This reduces the impact from all floor layers to adjacent walls.
